I just can't help myself, I can make models like stink and get them to this stage, its the second half of the painting process that gets me into trouble...
Musing from the painting table of a long term miniature painter a GW hobbyist. I waffle on about stuff that I'm doing, stuff that I've done, and Ideas for the future. Feel free to ask questions about the hobby/painting small stuff, I will try my best to get back to you with answers, however, real life has a tendency to get in the way and I'm new to this blogging lark, so bare with me.

Terminator Protocols
Just ten termies I put together whilst I was doing nothing...
We've got 5 out the box and five with the 'World Eater' FW extras (the LRs are still in the box)
Oh yeah, the base coat was Khorne Red from a GW can, then from 90 degrees to vertical was VMA 71085, Italian red and a zenithal highlight of VGA 72709 Hot red/orange?. I think I may be going back in with a red ink as some point to knock the orange back, but its a starting point.
The Brass Monkey!
The main carapace is coming on and there is still plenty to do. I've used the same methods on this chap as I did with the Impaler and the Slaughterer so there is nothing new to add here... however...
The metal on this chap was done with a can of silver car paint from Halfords (just before I found out GW were doing lead belcher in a can) and to be fair the result is pretty good!
