The first of three FW beasts....

 Ahh the pitter patter of tiny feet :)

I've followed the painting guid for the Greater Brass Scorpion in Imperial Armour - Model master class Volume 2... more or less.

The Beastie is all done, 1 down 2 to go, think the others should come on quickly now that I know what I'm doing .

So where was I?

Ok, So I'm still here, I've just been busy with... STUFF! 

  

Started on the Bones, horns and claws... Simply used bleached bone washed with Earth shade.

Made a start on the metal, base of GW Gold and Scorched brown 50/50 then decided to have a look under the Masking liquid..

So far so good...

Liking the effect and the finish.

I'll be going back and doing something extra to the Khorne markings... maybe.

 Flappy Flappy smily death machine!

And poop! ... I never did like this option for the base, so it was time to pin, epoxy and green stuff the thing back together.

Stronger than a rock.

So this it where he is to date, and I got distracted by a FW beast... :P
